Break the net update
Hello, Chris here. I'm the course leader for 'Break The Net'
I just wanted to publish a quick post to say well done to everyone for their work at last weeks session. We learnt a lot and had some fun too! In fact we even had a time for a pool competition at the end.
Now that we've set up this blog we'll be posting regular updates from our 'Break The Net' sessions and the other brilliant courses taking place at Sale Moor Community Partnership Learning Centre.
On Friday 7 July we'll be looking at setting up our own blogs, filming some vlogs and starting to look at making computer games.

Sale Moor Community Centre: Then and Now
In today's session we have been looking at photos of Sale Moor from the past. We have found this photo of the exact place we are making this blog from 1970! (That's really old!!!)
This picture was taken by a Press Photographer after an armed robbery at the post office in 1970. It is from a website called Trafford Lifetimes which has lots of picture from the olden days in Trafford.
This is the same picture 45 years later from the same position. The community centre is open for people of any age to come and explore new skills and experiences.
